Finding Dragons in the Field

Finding Dragons is all about identifying Odonates (dragonflies & damselflies) along the Boise River from Barber Park to Eagle using eDNA & kick net sampling and sightings posted on iNaturalist and determine species richness, the effects of urbanization on aquatic biodiversity and engage youth in activities that inspire them to appreciate & conserve these important indicator species and their roles in ecosystems. This presentation will include project leaders Ethan Tolman & Dick Jordan who will be discussing their research.
