About the event
Join the Idaho Conservation Corps and Idaho Environmental Education Association to learn more about the role of modern day conservation corps and the educational opportunities they provide for Idaho's youth and young adults.
Based on the Civilian Conservation Corps of the 1930s, Idaho Conservation Corps offers a challenging education and job-training experience that helps youth and young adults from diverse backgrounds develop the skills they need to lead full and productive lives. ICC programs include residential conservation crews for both youth and young adults and an internship program for college aged participants. ICC participants earn a paycheck, school credit, and experience valuable hands-on environmental education.
This talk is open to teachers, parents, teens, young adults, and anyone interested in learning more about conservation corps and the opportunities and benefits they provide to public lands and young people.
This is a FREE virtual event- Zoom link will be provided after registration.
